Abstract: Herein, the conventional and unconventional hydrogen bonding potential of adenine in APA for double zipper helical assembly of deoxyoligonucleotides is demonstrated under ambient conditions. The quantum mechanical calculations supported the formation of hybrid DNA ensembles.
