Abstract: Direct synthesis of hydrogen peroxide from molecular H-2 and O-2 is one of the challenging reactions for several decades in terms of catalyst selection, stability and selectivity. Herein, we report a bimetallic NiPd nanocatalyst showing unusually high, three times higher activity compared to Pd nanocatalysts. The catalyst also shows very long life time, 72 h, with high activity under harsh acidic conditions.
