Substitution of Ba by Sr in BaPb1−xBixO3 narrows the superconducting composition range in addition to lowering the Tc; the decrease in Tc with Sr content is nonlinear. The effect of Sr substitution is found to be more subtle than a mere chemical pressure effect.en_US
