Graphene analogues of MoSe(2) and WSe(2) have been prepared by three different chemical methods and characterized by electron microscopy and other methods. Graphene analogues of these diselenides as well as of GaSe have also been obtained by liquid-phase exfoliation. Raman spectra of the graphene analogues show significant changes relative to those of the bulk samples.en_US
